We are pleased to announce another episode of the webinar series, “What Could Possibly Go Wrong?” led by PD Dr. Gregory Cunningham. In this series, esteemed surgeons are invited to share and discuss cases from their own practice that didn't go as planned, offering a glimpse into the intricacies of surgical decision-making, the hurdles faced, and the innovative approaches taken to manage these situations. 

In this episode, Gregory Cunningham will host Alexandre Lädermann from Switzerland and Tjarco Alta from The Netherlands to discuss their challenging cases and invite you to ask questions and share your insights in the live Q&A.

PD Dr. Gregory Cunningham

Orthopedic Surgeon specialized in Shoulder and Elbow Surgery.

PD Dr. Cunningham completed his training in orthopedic and trauma surgery at the Geneva University Hospitals, a major trauma center. He was a Consultant (Chef de Clinic) for four years and was in charge of the Shoulder and Elbow Team for one year. He then completed a surgical and scientific fellowship with the Sydney Shoulder Research Institute in Australia, where refined his practice and launched several research projects.

He has his private practice and co-founded the Shoulder Centre while maintaining a Consultant position at the Geneva University Hospitals and Hôpital Neuchâtelois. He is actively involved in medical education, research and has published over 30 scientific articles. He is also a member of several national and international scientific and medical societies. Gregory Cunningham regularly participates as a speaker at international conferences around the world.
PD Dr. Cunningham’s practice focuses on an evidence-based scientific approach to provide the best possible personalized treatment for each patient

Together with his team, PD Dr. Alexandre LÄDERMANN treats traumatic and nontraumatic pathologies of the shoulder and the elbow. He is the President of Swiss Shoulder Society (Expertengruppe Schulter und Ellbogen (Swiss Orthopaedics)) and the President of the Congress of the European Society for Shoulder and Elbow Surgery (SECEC/ESSSE) and Editor of the Journal of Shoulder and Elbow Arthroplasty. Driven by his will to develop new medical techniques to improve his patients' recovery, Dr LÄDERMANN is at the heart of intense scientific activity. This has led him to create the Foundation for Research and Teaching in Orthopedic Surgery (FORE) of which he is also President.
